Mira with kids
We host a lot of families, and the reason is simple: here there's always a plan B. If the sea is rough, the lagoon is flat; if it's windy, the pine forest is sheltered.
Calm water every day
The Barrinha river beach is the big win with kids: no waves, a gentle slope, warmer than the sea and cafés nearby. It's metres from the open-sea beach, so you can switch in a minute.
Windy or rainy days

- Aveiro and its moliceiro boats, 40 minutes away.
- Coimbra, with Portugal dos Pequenitos, 40 minutes away.
- An afternoon at home: games at the big table and dinner outside.
The house for families
The first floor is yours alone: two double bedrooms and a full bathroom. The shared areas — equipped kitchen, dining room, garden with barbecue — are shared with us, which in practice means having someone who knows the area always at hand. We host up to 4 adults + 2 children, or 2 adults + 6 children.
